SAUCISSE LAUSIANNE | |
1 lb. wieners 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1/2 c. chopped onion 3 tbsp. oil 1 can (1 lb. 4 oz.) tomatoes 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 clove garlic, chopped 1 bay leaf 3 c. cooked rice Saute green pepper and onion in oil until tender. Add remaining ingredients and seasonings. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Cut wieners into bite size pieces. Add bite size pieces and rice to sauce. Place remaining whole links on top. Cover and simmer 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
