LEMON POPPY SEED BREAD | |
1/4 c. poppy seeds 1 pkg. lemon cake mix 4 eggs 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. hot water 1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant lemon pudding 1/2 c. oil Soak poppy seeds in 1/2 cup hot water. Let stand, then put into mixing bowl the cake mix, instant pudding, eggs, 1/2 cup water, and 1/2 cup oil. Mix 4 minutes, add poppy seeds. Grease 2 (9 x 5 x 3) bread pans and flour pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Instant vanilla pudding can be substituted for the instant lemon pudding. |
