LIGHT POTATO ROLLS | |
1-2 pkgs. yeast 1/2 c. lukewarm water 4 c. milk, scalded, cooled 1 c. mashed potato or 3/4 c. instant potato flakes 3/4 c. sugar 1 c. shortening 3 1/2 qts. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda Salt Combine yeast in lukewarm water. Set aside. Mix milk, potato, sugar and shortening. Add yeast, dry ingredients. Make a soft dough. Let rise. Punch down, let rise. Form into buns, let rise. Bake 15 minutes, 375 degrees. |
