ICE BOX MUFFINS 
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Shredded Wheat (crushed) or Wheat Chex
2 c. All-Bran
2 c. boiling water (add just before mixing with batter)
1 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 qt. buttermilk

Make batter (first 4 ingredients), then add the rest.

Will keep in refrigerator up to 3 months.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
