KREME COOKIES 
1 c. corn oil butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
Jelly

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Thoroughly blend softened cream cheese with butter. Add sugar. Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture. Knead into a stiff dough.

Roll to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into shapes. Indent center and fill with jelly. Bake for about 12 minutes. If desired, sprinkle warm cookies with confectioners sugar.
