DELICIOUS PUMPKIN CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
3 c. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk
2 c. cooked pumpkin, mashed
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. raisins

Combine sugar, oil and eggs; beat well. Sift together all dry ingredients and add to above mixture. Blend in milk, pumpkin, pecans and raisins. Bake in 3 cake pans, 9" round, greased and floured well. Bake for 40 minutes at 300 degrees. Cool and frost.

FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 stick butter or good butter
1 box 10XXX sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend and beat until creamy. Spread on tops, between layers and sides. If using a tube or bundt cake pan, bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees and let cool for 30 minutes before turning out to finish cooling.
