1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour (cake)
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. butter, melted
3 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream well butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs; mix well. Sift flour, salt, baking soda together twice. Add flour mixture to milk alternating. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Use 10" tube pan.
