GOULASH SOUP 
1 lb. ground round beef or lean beef
2 (#2 size) cans tomato
1 med. potato, diced
1 sm. onion, grated
2 cans water; use tomato cans to measure
1 pkg. frozen cut okra; add last
1 sm. can cream style corn
Salt and pepper to taste

Place 2 cans tomatoes in large soup pot. Mash tomatoes some, then add 2 cans of water; heat to boiling. Let boil 3-5 minutes, then add diced potato and grated onion.

Turn to slow boil; brown ground meat (pour off grease) and add meat to soup; bring to another good boil and cook moderate for 15 minutes. Place cut up okra and corn at same time and when okra is done soup is ready to eat.

Add more water if you like thinning soup. Salt and pepper added after potatoes and onion to taste. You may season meat with salt also. (Add more at table to each personal taste.) Serve with French bread. Serves 6 large bowls.
