CREAM OF PEA SOUP 
2 tbsp. butter and 1 tbsp. onion, chopped

2 c. peas, fresh or frozen
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. water
1 tsp. sugar

Cook until the peas are soft, about 20 minutes. Put in blender. Add 1 cup milk or light cream. Heat slowly. Season to taste with garlic salt or mace pepper. Sprinkle with parsley.
