CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 c. milk 2 c. cooked, cubed chicken 1 c. quick rice, uncooked 1 can sliced green beans, drained or pkg. of cooked broccoli 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar mushrooms, drained 1 c. cheddar cheese, grated 1 can French fried onions In saucepan combine soup and milk and heat to boiling. Stir in the chicken, rice, beans (or broccoli) and mushrooms. Place half of this mixture in casserole, top with grated cheese and half of the onions. Pour remaining half of mixture on top. Bake, covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with remaining onions and bake, covered 7 minutes longer. Serves 6. |
