1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter
3 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, milk, salt, cocoa and butter. Boil 1 1/2 minutes after mixture comes to a boil. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir until dissolved. Stir in oatmeal and vanilla. Drop with teaspoon onto wax paper. Press lightly with fork. Makes about 2 dozen.
