MRS. MYRLE GEARING'S APRICOT
PINEAPPLE NUT SALAD
 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. apricot jello

Bring pineapple and sugar just to boil. Add remaining ingredients. Cool in refrigerator and when cool, fold in 1 (12 ounce) Cool Whip and 1 cup chopped pecans. Let set for several hours.
