BUTTER HORNS 
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
1 household yeast cake dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. sugar
3 beaten eggs
6 c. flour (about)

Mix together Crisco, 1/2 cup sugar and salt. Pour over this the boiling water and let stand until shortening is melted and cooked. Add dissolved yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar. Add beaten eggs. Add flour to make a soft dough. Let rise in bowl. Knead down and make rolls. Place in greased pans. Let rise in pans and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
