LAWRY'S CHILE VERDE 
1 1/2 lb. lean pork, cut into 1/2 x 3 inch strips
1 tbsp. shortening
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes, broken up
3 (4 oz. each) cans whole green chilies, deveined and seeded, cut in narrow lengthwise strips
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. Lawry's garlic powder with parsley
1 tbsp. Lawry's minced onion with green onion flakes
1 pkg. Lawry's brown gravy mix
1/4 c. water
Lawry's seasoned salt, to taste

Brown pork strips in shortening. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer covered 1 to 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Remove cover and simmer 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.
