CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
FIRST LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (1 lb.) can Hershey's syrup

Combine butter, sugar and eggs; add flour, salt, vanilla and chocolate syrup. Beat well. Pour in lightly greased and floured 9x13 inch pan; bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool.

SECOND LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. creme de menthe

Combine butter and sugar, add creme de menthe. Beat well. Spread over cooled cake layer. Refrigerate until firm.

THIRD LAYER:

1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Heat chocolate chips and butter until melted. Pour or spread over cooled second layer. Refrigerate when cool. Cut into squares.
