BAKER'S CHOCOLATE FUDGE BARS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. uncooked oats, quick or regular
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
2/3 c. sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Mix flour and baking soda. Cream 1 cup butter with sugar. Beat in eggs and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla. Mix in flour mixture and oats. Set aside 1 1/3 cups of mixture. Press remainder into bottom of greased 13"x9" pan. Melt 1 cup of the chocolate chips with the milk and 1 tablespoon butter, stirring until smooth. Stir in remaining vanilla and 3/4 cup of the nuts. Spread over oat layer. Dot with remaining oat mixture. Sprinkle with remaining nuts and chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into bars. Makes about 3 dozen.
