LEMON YOGURT BREAD | |
2 tsp. lemon peel, grated 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. butter 2 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. plain yogurt 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well. Add peel and vanilla. Alternate, adding mixed dry ingredients and yogurt. Mix just until moistened. Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 10 minutes. Turn out and cool completely. 20 slices per loaf, 89 calories per slice. Yield: 1 loaf. |
