CATSUP 
12 pt. tomato pulp
8 med. onions, chopped
3 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
3 heaping tbsp. salt
1 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. chili powder

Boil 1 1/2 hours. Then add 8 heaping tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in cold water. Boil 10 minutes longer and seal hot. Add red food coloring, if desired, to brighten it.
