1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 1/3 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3 bananas, mashed (1 1/4 c.)
1/2 c. nuts

Beat butter for 30 seconds. Fold in about half of the flour, and the sugar, eggs, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla and spices. Beat until thoroughly combined. Add the remaining flour, then the bananas. Stir in nuts.

Drop by rounded spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool cookies on rack. Frost with cream cheese frosting. Yield: Makes 60 cookies.
