1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
1/2 stick butter
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Chocolate syrup
Chopped nuts (pecans)

Grind cookies and add melted butter. Pat into a 12x13 pan. Let ice cream thaw until it is easy to spread over cookie crumbs. Put Cool Whip over ice cream. Drizzle chocolate syrup over Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Place in freezer until 10-15 minutes before serving.
