COCONUT POUND CAKE 
5 eggs
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. coconut flavoring
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. Crisco
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut

Cream sugar and Crisco; add eggs one at a time; sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add alternately with buttermilk. Pour in greased tube pan. Bake 1 hour 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. flavoring

Boil 2 minutes and pour over hot cake.
