PEANUT BLOSSOM COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed firmly

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream together butter and peanut butter and brown sugar. Cream well. Blend in dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Shape dough into balls using a rounded teaspoon per ball. Roll in sugar. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes. Top each with a chocolate candy kiss and press firmly. Return to oven and bake 2 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
