BASIC VINAIGRETTE 
2/3 c. olive oil
2/3 c. vegetable oil
2/3 c. balsamic vinegar
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, peeled
Salt to taste
Ground pepper to taste

Put all ingredients in a glass jar and shake until blended well. Store and cover in refrigerator. Shake before using. Makes 2 cups.
