FAVORITE PIE CRUST | |
2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 3/4 c. shortening 1/2 c. ice water Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening, add ice water. Blend until dough cleans bowl and is no longer sticky. Divide equally. Roll out each crust 1 inch larger than 9 inch pan on floured board. Bake filled as directed in recipes. To bake unfilled, prick bottom of crust with fork tines and bake 10-12 minutes at 450 degrees. Freezes great unbaked. |
