CHRISTMAS DIP 
1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can pork & beans (reg. or Ranch style), mashed
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 c. chopped ripe black olives
Taco chips

Put beef and 1/4 cup onion in skillet; cook 5 minutes, stirring, until beef is lightly browned. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, and salt; bring to a simmer. Stir in mashed beans and simmer 3 to 4 minutes to blend flavors. Put in chafing dish; sprinkle with cheese, olives, and rest of onion. Serve with taco chips. Makes about 1 1/3 cups dip.
