FROG EYE SALAD 
3 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. pineapple juice, drained from crushed pineapple (use orange juice if not enough)
3 tbsp. flour
Salt

Cook the above until thick stirring often. Set aside to cool.

Cook one package smallest macaroni (found in Kosher section as "egg noodle" barley) according to instructions on package and set aside to cool.

1 can crushed pineapple
3 cans mandarin oranges
1 lg. tub Cool Whip
1 can chunk pineapple
1 can fruit cocktail
1 can chopped nuts (optional)

Pour cooked sauce over fruit, mix well, then add "frog eyes" and Cool Whip and mix well. You can add maraschino cherries for color. If you wish, you may sprinkle coconut on top.
