FRUIT COCKTAIL BARS 
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 (17 oz.) can fruit cocktail, undrained
2 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat eggs and sugar together. Add rest of ingredients and beat until well mixed. Spread into greased and floured jelly roll pan. Sprinkle with 1 1/3 cups flaked coconut and 1 cup nutmeats. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

After bars are baked and almost cool, drizzle the topping over them.

Combine topping ingredients and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove and cool slightly and drizzle over warm bars.
