SWEET AND SOUR BEEF 
2 lbs. beef stew cubes, well trimmed
1/2 c. flour
Dash of pepper
2 lg. onions, sliced
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 tbsp. soy sauce
3/4 c. each water and ketchup
1/2 c. sugar
1 can mushrooms

Mix flour, salt and pepper into a paper lunch sack and shake meat well in it to coat. Place meat in a greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with sliced onions. Mix all other ingredients and pour over meat. Bake at 300 degrees for 3 hours. Serve over rice or noodles. (I sometimes use Chinese noodles.)
