2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. pumpkin
1 c. oil
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Mix dry ingredients, add eggs and oil, pumpkin. Stir in raisins and nuts. Grease and flour two 9 inch cake pans, bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

FROSTING:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
4 c. powdered sugar
1 or 2 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix with electric mixer. If you choose you can bake in a bundt pan and glaze with 1 cup powdered sugar, 4 teaspoon orange juice, and 3/4 teaspoon zest. What can I say about Dale. He was my life and my love. I flew free as a bird with him for 45 years. The day we met he told his mom "I've met the girl I'm going to marry." It was much too short. We both enjoyed baking and trying new recipes. He was great, always left a clean kitchen.
