BRAISED CUCUMBERS 
2 oz. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
1 lb. cucumbers, peeled and seeded
2 oz. chopped onions
1/4 c. chicken broth
4 oz. tomatoes, peeled and seeded
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. chopped dill
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. sour cream

Stir sugar and butter in heated skillet until lightly browned. Add onion and cook until transparent. Add broth, tomatoes, cucumbers, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Serves 6.
