HUNGARIAN SPICED RICE | |
1 c. rice 2 onions 1 green pepper 1 tsp. salt 1/4 c. lard or oil 1 tsp. red paprika 2 cloves garlic 2 scant c. water Cook the rice with water; set aside. Chop up onions; place them in hot oil or lard; fry and stir at a high flame (1 minute). Add paprika, crushed garlic, salt and chopped green pepper; keep stirring on high flame (for 1 more minute). Combine the cooked rice with the fried stuff. Mix gently and keep warm under cover until served. |
