CHESTNUT MEATBALLS 
2 c. soft bread crumbs (2 1/2 slices fresh), mixed in blender
1/2 c. milk
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. pork sausage (hot Italian or anything spicy)
1 (5-6 oz.) can water chestnuts, minced

Mix all together well as if making for meat loaf. Add more crumbs if too juicy. Make into balls. Place on baking sheet with sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes if fresh, 30 minutes if frozen. Makes 5 dozen. Altitude tested.

These are absolutely delicious. They are not greasy because they are baked, not fried in oil.
