LUSCIOUS PEACH PIE 
2 (29 oz.) cans peaches, sliced
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
1/8 tsp. almond extract
Pastry for 9 inch pie, double crust

Drain peaches, reserving 1/2 cup syrup. Combine sugar, flour, nutmeg, and salt. Add reserved syrup. Cook and stir until thickened. Add next 4 ingredients, then peaches. Fill pie shell. Add top crust and seal. Bake at 400 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
