CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
2 c. cooked, diced chicken
3 med. sized carrots
2 ribs celery
1/2 tsp. minced onion
Can mixed vegetables (optional)
1 lg. potato, cut up
Salt and pepper to taste

BISCUITS:

2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
3/4-1 c. milk

Cook all ingredients in large saucepan with enough water to cook celery and carrots. Then thicken with cornstarch. After its cooked then add can mixed vegetables. Put in 9 x 11 inch baking dish. Then drop biscuits by spoonfuls on top.

Bake in 450 degree oven until chicken mixture is bubbly and biscuit are light brown, about 20-25 minutes.
