MAPLE FUDGE 
2 c. light brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. maple flavoring
2/3 c. milk, evaporated
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine sugar and milk in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Continue cooking to soft boil stage (238 degrees on candy thermometer). Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm. Add butter, flavoring and vanilla. Beat until thick and loses gloss quickly; add nuts. Spread into buttered 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Cool and cut into squares.
