CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 chocolate fudge cake mix
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
5 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 c. chocolate chips

Mix together the first 4 ingredients by hand. Pour into a greased and floured cake pan, 13 x 9 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Combine butter, sugar, and milk in a saucepan. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in the chocolate chips until melted. Spread over warm cake. Makes approximately 3 dozen bars.
