3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/3 c. milk
2 tsp. anisette extract
Prunes, currents, chocolate chips or raisins may be added

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Apart cream shortening. Add sugar and the beaten eggs. Mix the anisette with milk and add alternating with flour. Shape into cookies and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
