DON'S DILL PICKLES 
BRINE:

3 qt. distilled water
1/3 c. salt
1 qt. white vinegar

Mix together and bring to a boil.

Wash 6-7 dozen medium size cucumbers and pack into jars along with a head of dill, 1 clove garlic peeled, 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed and 1 bay leaf. Pour boiling brine into jars, seal with lids and rings and place in boiling water bath for 5 minutes.
