SAUCY MEATLOAF | |
1 lb. ground chuck (veal or pork) 1 egg 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/2 tsp. parsley 1/2 c. Italian bread crumbs 1 tbsp. ketchup Salt & pepper SAUCE: 1/2 c. dark brown sugar 1/4 to 1/2 c. ketchup 1/2 tsp. mustard (Double sauce to use after loaf is cut.) Cooking time: 1 hour at 350 degrees. Serves 4. Mix ingredients for meat loaf. Shape into loaf. Mix ingredients for sauce. Spread half over loaf. Bake 40 minutes. Remove from oven. Spread on more sauce.e Bake 20 minutes. Cool briefly before serving. |
