KENTUCKY TEA BISCUITS 
1/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sifted flour

Let cheese and butter warm to room temperature. Mix thoroughly with other ingredients. Shape in balls about size of small marble then flatten and place pecan half on top of each biscuit. Bake at 400 degrees until slightly brown. Dough may be made and kept covered in refrigerator.
