CHICKEN OR HAM AND NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup 1 c. dairy sour cream 2 c. cubed chicken or ham, cooked 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked and drained 1 (10 oz.) pkg. mild cheddar cheese, grated In a 2 quart saucepan, melt butter. Saute onion and peppers. Remove from heat. Stir in soup and sour cream. In a 2 quart buttered casserole, layer 1/2 each of noodles, cheese, meat and soup mixture. Repeat with remaining amounts ending with cheese on top. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Yields: 6 to 8 servings. |
