POLISH BREAD 
1 qt. milk
1 lb. butter
3 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
8 eggs
5 lb. flour
2 boxes white raisins
7 yeast cakes
3 tsp. vanilla

Put butter and milk on low fire, then cool. Add eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla; mix everything together. Mix flour into mixture a little at a time. Beat bread until lumps are out, about 20 minutes. Dissolve 7 yeast cakes with water (a little at a time) and add to flour. Add raisins (2 boxes to batter).

Let it rise a couple of hours in a warm place. Butter your pans real good; transfer into your bakery pans and let rise again about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
