BUCKEYES 
1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. powdered sugar
6 oz. semisweet chocolate morsels
2 tbsp. solid vegetable shortening

In medium bowl, with hands, mix first 4 ingredients to form stiff dough. Use 2 tablespoons dough and shape into balls. Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate. In top of double boiler, melt chocolate and shortening. Pour into small bowl when smooth. Insert wooden toothpick into peanut butter balls and dip into chocolate a little over halfway up to resemble buckeyes. Return to refrigerator.
