CHOCOLATE TEA BREAD 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1/2 c. applesauce
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix all ingredients on low speed. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. When cooled, remove from pan and dust with powdered sugar.
