CORNBREAD PIZZA 
1/2 med. onion, chopped
1 lb. bulk pork sausage
16 oz. can stewed tomatoes - juice
1/2 sm. can tomato paste
3/4 c. grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese
1 c. flour
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. milk
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. sugar

Brown onion and sausage together; drain off fat. Put tomatoes into blender; blend till smooth. Add to sausage. Add tomato paste and simmer, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes. In bowl, stir together Parmesan cheese, flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix together eggs, milk and oil; stir into dry ingredients just until mixed. Pour batter into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Carefully pour sausage mixture over batter. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve when cheese melted.
