HAMBURGER AND DRESSING HOTDISH | |
2 lbs. hamburger, not browned 1 cube butter 1 good sized onion, chopped 3-4 stalks celery, chopped 1 box seasoned croutons 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of celery soup 1 can milk (soup can) Pack raw hamburger loosely and lumpy into a 9"x13" pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place butter, onion and celery in a saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer until butter is melted. Pour into a bowl with croutons, mix and spread over the meat in pan. Mix the soups with milk and spread over the crouton mixture. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Turn off oven and let set for 15 minutes. Cut into squares or serve from baking dish. |
