APPLES AND AMARETTO 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/8 to 1/4 c. Amaretto liqueur
1/4 c. finely granulated sugar
1/2 c. almond slivers
6 apples (red and yellow delicious)
1 fresh pineapple, cut in half and hollowed

Cream sugar, liqueur, and cream cheese; then form into a ball. Roll in almond slivers OR fill the hollowed pineapple (reserve meat of pineapple and cut into chunks to serve with the apples) with the cheese mixture and sprinkle almond slivers on top. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

Slice apples thinly, immediately before serving, and arrange around the dip. The cheese should be at a spreadable temperature. The cheese ball can be made 1 day ahead.
