MAY BAZ'S BAKED BEEF BRISKET | |
1 c. catsup 1 c. water 2 tbsp. vinegar (apple cider) 1 sm.-med. onion, sliced thinly 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tbsp. horseradish 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (4 lb.) beef brisket 2 tsp. salt Approx. 2 tbsp. brown sugar Combine everything well, add meat and marinate several hours in refrigerator (or overnight). Place meat and marinade in roast pan, cover and bake at 300 degrees for approximately 4 hours or until tender. Skim off excess fat from sauce. Wonderful with mashed potatoes and some kind of greens. |
