CARAMEL FRUIT DIP 
1 pkg. caramels
1 stick butter
1 tsp. rum extract
1/4 to 1/2 c. milk

Place caramels and butter in microwave bowl and cook in microwave for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes until melted. Remove from oven and add rum and stir until all mixed well. Add the milk until you think it is thin enough. The milk keeps it from getting hard. If you find it is not thin enough, add more milk. You can also add more milk if it gets too thick after serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
