NUT BROWNIES | |
3 c. sugar 3 c. flour 1 c. butter 1 c. chopped nuts 6 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. cocoa Put sugar, 2 eggs, butter and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat together and gradually add 1 egg at a time. Then, add flour and cocoa which you have mixed together, until mixture is well blended. Add nuts. Put mixture in a greased, foil lined jelly roll pan, 10"x15". Place pan on top shelf of oven. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. After baking, cool pan on rack for 10 minutes, then turn it out and remove foil. Put brownies back in pan. Cool. Then frost with a chocolate frosting. (I use recipe on Hershey's cocoa can.) Makes 42 to 48 pieces. |
